Event hire company, Add Vintage, joins the Gaunts Commercial Community

 

A letting has been recently completed to Emily James. Emily will run her own business, Add Vintage, from the unit.

Add Vintage is an Event Hire Company who provides authentic, hand picked vintage pieces for any special event, whether it's a 150 seater wedding or a picnic for 2.  We provide everything from crockery to garden games, or deck chairs to glassware. We also source specific pieces for clients and are available to help dress the venues.

Gaunts go for Garforth

Gaunts have been on the property acquisition trail again with the purchase of a 15,600 square feet light manufacturing unit at Sycamore Court, Garforth, Leeds.

Express Bi Folding Doors occupy the majority of the building and Sugarcraft Supplies occupy 1,740 square feet.

Express Bi Folding Doors specialize in the manufacture of aluminium bi folding doors which offer a 90% clear opening compared to patio doors which offer a maximum of 40%.

Leeds Karate Academy travel to Tokyo

Nine members of the Academy travelled to Japan last month for the JKS World Championships.

The teams both took bronze the medal. The Mens Team lost out to South Africa, the Womens Team also lost in the Semi-Final to Japan.

The following day four LKA members took Dan Gradings (promotion exams) at the JKS HQ in Tokyo.  All four passed the following:

  • Matt Price 6th Dan JKS
  • Ashley Scott 4th Dan JKS
  • Juliet Finlay 4th Dan JKS
  • Melissa Finlay 3rd Dan JKS.

Aardvark Archery ready to shoot past the 10 year target

“ We are pleased to announce that one of our long standing tenants Aardvark Archery will be celebrating its 10th birthday on 11 July. The company was established by the current owner Les Newsome and is the only archery shop in West Yorkshire.

Les has been involved in archery for over 40 years achieved Master Bowman status in 1975 and has maintained this standard virtually every year.
